Vote for The Heifer's Name

So, last week I promised you a post for this week about a recent experience I had at Publix. I am sorry to say that I’m postponing that post one more week and hope to have it up next week. I’m only working a half day today and haven’t had time to properly write about that story and I want to make sure I do it justice. So, please accept my apology and tune in next week for that story.

As for today, it’s back to the cow heifer. I emailed Amy the five names that were suggested on the day of the original post which were: Weezy (my personal favorite), Cinderella, Ginnie, Amarantha, and Trudy.

Since that time, three others have been suggested, Daisy, The Pit Bull (um, this is a heifer, not a bull), and Posie. I’m sorry to say that since Amy had already narrowed down her choices before these names were submitted, these were not considered. But, fear not, because I have a feeling that we may be naming the bull soon and then you can submit more names whoever you are (two of these three were submitted anonymously).

From those original five suggested names, Amy narrowed down the choices to three names. Those three are Cinderella, Ginnie, and Trudy, and now it’s time for you to cast your vote to name Wes and Amy’s heifer, soon to be cow. As you can see from the top of the blog, there is a poll where you can vote on the name. The poll will be open for one week and the results will be revealed next Friday.
