So, the votes are in for the Name the Heifer Poll and the winner, with eight votes is Trudy. Ginnie came in a close second with six votes, followed by Something Else – these names are terrible with three votes and Cinderella with two. I will be sure and let Amy know what the name of her heifer, soon to be cow is. Hopefully she will soon send a picture of the bull and we can do it all over again. Thanks for voting everyone!
I don’t know about you all, but I don’t really have any big plans for the weekend. My jaw is still bruised and I’ve generally avoided chewing on the right side of my mouth which is getting quite annoying. The few times I have tried to chew over there have not been pleasant and have been quite painful. I’m hoping this clears up in a couple of days otherwise it looks like it might be a root canal after all and I am not looking forward to that in the least.
I want to give a shout out to my dear friend Caroline who gave birth to her second son yesterday in South Africa. She named him Blake Darrow Collie. Darrow is Caroline’s maiden name and I think it is an excellent choice for her son’s middle name (not that she asked me or anything).
I’m not in much of a writing mood today so I’m going to close it out here. I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!
