It’s Fall Break this week and school children everywhere are out causing mischief. It also means we don’t have to worry about school zones or heavy traffic in the mornings and mid-afternoons. When I was in school we didn’t have a fall break, only winter break and spring break; of course, we also started school at the end of August rather than the beginning. I don’t know about you, but I think I would have preferred the way they do it now. I think fall break is a nice relief for today’s school kids.
Jackie sent me the above picture yesterday. Can you guess where she is? She is at Universal Studios in Orlando with her kids and her dad and step-mom. That lucky dog went to Hogwarts yesterday. If you didn’t know (then you must be living under a rock), Universal Studios opened up a Harry Potter themed portion of the park. I’ll admit it, I’m super jealous that she and Troy and Ashlyn are getting to hang out in Hogsmeade and Hogwarts and Ollivanders and may even bump into Professor McGonagall or even Dumbledore himself!
I’m sure they are having a great time and I am anxious for them to get back so they can tell me all about their adventures over a butter beer.

I got the picture too and felt left out. i would love to see the entire Harry Potter part.
But my guess would be that it is very crowded from the picture. I also bid Troy is going crazy with excitement.
We will just have to plan our own trip to Hogwarts.

Gary and I were at Universal on our honeymoon and Hogwarts wasn't built yet :(. Not that I had seen any of the movies or read any of the books at that point, but now I would LOVE to go.
