Today is my blogiversary! One year ago today I started this blog at the encouragement of my friends. To think that it’s lasted a year so far is quite an accomplishment. After all, the last time I attempted to start a blog it last for all of five seconds… ok, maybe five weeks. But, this one has been going for a year and I’m really thrilled that it’s lasted this long and that my five loyal readers have stuck in there with me.
So, today, because I’ve made it a year, I want to reward one lucky reader with one of my most favorite books. You guessed it, The Pioneer Woman Cooks. This cookbook is so wonderful! It has tons of great recipes in it and most all of them are easy to make. As I’m sure you know, I went to the Pioneer Woman book signing in Nashville back in December and the book I am giving away is also signed by her.

Well I'm new to the blog but what I like so far is the dog pics. Right this minute I have a disbelieving pitbull looking at me from under the covers, trying to figure out why anyone ever gets out of bed when it's cold!
