My Third Blogiversary...And A Giveaway - Woot!

We've reached that time of year once again - it's my Blogiversary! Or rather it will be on Sunday, January 29! Can you believe that this is my third Blogiversary? I certainly can't. I would say I didn't know I had so many things to say, but I'm a Parker and Parkers talk... a lot... so I guess I can believe it. What I can't believe is that people actually read this stuff. Well, at least 10 people or so do. So thanks to the 10 of you who stop by at least once a week to catch up on the sometimes interesting and sometimes not so interesting life of me... and The Tide (we can't forget her).

The blog has actually been a good outlet for me and when I am 90 years old and living beside Jackie and Erika at the retirement home, we will be able to look back on ye ole Internet and remember all the interesting adventures I had... and they had because they are often a part of said adventures. Anyway, it's been fun and I'm glad I did it and I thank you for reading because let's face it, I don't always have the most interesting things to say.

On the occasion of this third blogiversary, I am having a giveaway (try to refrain from screaming out in excitement). I've hosted a giveaway on my blogiversary each year and each year the giveaway has been some sort of book by The Pioneer Woman (y'all know I love her!). Well, this year is no exception in that regard. In honor of my third blogiversary, I am giving away a copy of The Pioneer Woman's new cookbook which comes out in March. Let me emphasize this point once more...the book comes out in March. So, whoever the winner is will have to wait for about six weeks before they reap the rewards of their winnings. The book is set to be released on March 13 (voting day here in Alabama) and I have pre-ordered a copy for the winner. So, once the book arrives at my home, I will promptly ship it or deliver it to the winner. Remember, this will be in March. I only emphasize this over and over again because I don't want the winner to be disappointed when he/she doesn't receive a gift right away.
